Transforming lives through the power of empathy, compassion, and self-discovery

Cultivate Compassion Counseling & Wellness Center values kindness, connection, altruism, diversity, and adventure. Founded in 2023 by Lee Kelley, our mission is to foster the growth of compassion – compassion for oneself, compassion for other people, and compassion for our environment.

We believe the journey to self-compassion starts with quality mental health care, and we aim to work collaboratively with you to help you achieve your goals.

Lee Kelley, Founder, MS, LPC, NCC

Hello, and thanks for taking the time to learn more about me! My pronouns are she/her. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), licensed in Texas (#84783) & Oklahoma (#12100), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2019 and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Texas in 2011.

I have worked in a variety of settings providing counseling to a diverse group of clients. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, veterans, and families with issues related to life transitions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, grief and loss, trauma, and serious mental illness, such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Additionally, I am passionate about supporting Black, Indigenous, and other people of color on their journeys to healing generational wounds.

My approach is integrative, employing a variety of interventions including mindfulness, EMDR, creative interventions, and other strengths-based strategies. I am currently working toward a certificate in horticultural therapy from the Horticultural Therapy Institute, and I am excited to incorporate what I am learning in a session with you. I hope you allow me the opportunity to support and empower you to cultivate compassion and positive change, along your journey to self-healing!
